MCYSA Home Stay Player Program

McHenry County Youth Sports Association (MCYSA) is looking for families to host International baseball players during the 2017 MCYSA Summer International Championship played at Lippold Park.  MCYSA’s mission is “to positively impact the lives of local youth by providing opportunities to compete not only on the fields of athletics but also in the classrooms of academics and life. To bring a positive economic impact to our communities by supporting local businesses/vendors and generating overnight stays through our events.”

Our 13U, 14U and 15U Tournament Team are host team in this tournament and will participate against teams from around the USA and the World.

The home stay experience is a chance for international players to stay with local families and for local families to learn about the player’s country, family and culture. Most of the teams arrive Wednesday, July 19th and depart Monday, July 31st.

The responsibilities for the host family is simply be the player's family while they are in Crystal Lake. You will give the player's (two per home) a place to sleep, transport them to and from their games, cheer for them, provide meals, laundry and create cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Your family quickly becomes the player’s number one fans!

If you are interested in having your family partake in this wonderful experience, or have any questions about the program, please contact Crystal Lake Babe Ruth's President Justin Banaszynski at [email protected] or Crystal Lake Babe Ruth's Home Stay Coordinator, Lisa Noonan at [email protected]
