2019 CLBR Fall League Information
2019 Fall League Rules

Rules: We are using Major League rules (OBR) with the following
changes.

Safety: Base runners must try to avoid contact. On a force play the runner
must slide directly into the base.

Bats: For Fall, all USA, USSSA and BBCOR bats will be allowed. We will
not have bat restrictions as long as they are stamped with one of the three
above.

Lineup: All players present at the game are placed in the lineup. If a
player leaves the game for any reason that lineup spot is “Skipped.” If a
player arrives late they are placed at the end of the lineup. A team may
play with 8 players.

Pitching: All games are 6-innings in length. A player may pitch up to 4
innings per game. If a players pitches 3 or more innings in a game he must
rest for 1 calendar day. One pitch constitutes 1 inning pitched.
Courtesy runners: There are no courtesy runners allowed at any time,
except for an injury.

Time Limit: No new inning may start 1 hour, 30 minutes after the schedule
start time. We have a 2-hour “dead stop” for all games in the fall.
Maximum Runs Rule: If either team is ahead by the following the game
will be complete. 15 runs after 3 innings, 12 runs after 4 innings, 10 runs
after 5 innings.

Tie games/extra innings: If a game is tied after 6 innings it ends in a tie.
Team needs players: If a team needs extra players to have 9 or 10 for a
game, they may use any other player in the league.

Playing Time: All players present at the game must play a minimum of 3
innings in the field (exceptions for injury, ejection)
